Hello there! My name is Maximilian Eder, and I am a researcher living in Norway. This is my little corner on the web.
In my research and teaching, I primarily focus on topics related to digital technologies. Using both qualitative and quantitative research methods common to communication science, I examine areas such as journalism, artificial intelligence, and mediatised scandals. My research often includes cross-country comparisons.
After studying at the University of Koblenz-Landau and working in the media industry for several years, I gained my PhD at the University of Passau. Subsequently, I worked as a Research Associate at LMU Munich.
Since 2026, I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Stavanger.
